About

A nonprofit for the climate innovation ecosystem.

E8 Impact strengthens the climate innovation ecosystem through public education, convenings, and programs that expand access to knowledge, networks, and resources for founders, investors, donors, and everyone working on climate solutions.

Why E8 Impact

Twenty years of community, opened up.

Since 2006, E8 members have learned climate investing by doing it, and built a network of founders, investors, and partners along the way. Much of the education and convening that grew from that work serves a public purpose.

E8 Impact was formed in 2026 to carry that work forward as a nonprofit. It lets foundations, companies, and individuals support climate education and convening directly, and it opens our programs to everyone.

Our relationship with E8 Angels

Affiliated organizations, separate roles.

How is E8 Impact related to E8 Angels?

They are separate legal entities and affiliated organizations. E8 Angels is a member network of investors funding early-stage climate companies. E8 Impact runs public-benefit education, convening, and ecosystem programs. Each has its own board, finances, and records.

Do I need to be an E8 member or an investor to take part?

No. E8 Impact programs are open to the public.

Are contributions tax-deductible?

E8 Impact's 501(c)(3) application is pending. Write to us at and we will walk you through current options for supporting our programs.
